Monday Again
It’s Monday Again (IMA) is on “vacation” this week, hence a modified format with Florida highlights only. Great week. Amazing stuff. Read on!
Dr. Stephen Lennox is the unanimous choice of the Kingswood Presidential Search Committee as the single candidate for President. He and his wife Eileen will be on campus in February and then again in March for the vote of the board. More detail later on Dr Lennox. Positive plus!
Atlantic and Central Canada Districts held a joint reception following the opening rally of the Gathering. Overflow crowd. Great interaction. Sign of things to come. All good!
The Gathering saw a record number of Wesleyan ministers and spouses “gather” in Orlando. Over 100 from our district – one of the largest groups there. Inspiring. Informative. Tribal pride!
The International Conference met for two days ahead of The Gathering. One of the very significant actions was the unanimous adoption of a resolution granting conditional approval for the formation of an Established National Conference in Canada. Details to follow. Onward and upward!
Snowbird Breakfast was a great morning on Saturday. We had Stephanie Gilmer from World Hope Canada as our guest and took an offering for their ministry. Top notch fellowship and excellent buffet. Ya gotta luv it.
See you all next week. IMA will be back to “normal”!
Hillside Rally is just around the corner, so be sure to put down Feb 27-28 in your calendar for this event. Contact Michael Fearnley at michael@hillsidewesleyan.com for more info/questions.”
