Monday Again
What a way to begin Beulah 2016! Saturday began with heavy rain and strong winds and by days’ end it was clear and calm with a marvelous fireworks display at the beach thanks to the generosity of Brian and Deb McMillan. Between these book ends we shared in a large scale flea market, free afternoon gospel concert, chicken/ribs BBQ with Florida style strawberry shortcake and a ticketed evening concert with The Martins. Extremely positive comments from many and there were a large number of first-time Beulah visitors on the grounds. Truly a Day Like No Other.
We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Don Ingersoll. Without his vision for such a day and the capacity to turn the dream into reality, this simply would not have happened. Thanks, Don and your amazing army of volunteers! Be watching for next year……
Yesterday was a great day of celebration, worship and preaching as the full week of Beulah 2016 was launched with the singing of the historic Beulah Land. Dr David Smith proved once again to be the Master’s messenger to the church. It is going to be a week to be remembered.
Visit Family Camp on the Beulah Website where you can view the detailed schedule of the wide-ranging and variety of events for the week – truly something for everyone. Just two of the many highlight items – largest ordination class ever on Friday and the dedication of our new meeting/shower/laundry facility on Caton’s Island on Saturday. Don’t miss Beulah 2016.
