Monday Again
FOLLOW 2015 concluded just a few days ago. This was a very significant event in the life of The Wesleyan Church and this edition of Its Monday Again will be given over to FOLLOW, especially as it impacted our own district.
- circa 5500 registered
- Brent Ingersoll was the only Wesleyan leader to be featured as a Keynote speaker. He delivered a powerful word on Luke 5 with an incredible response from hundreds of students coming forward to “leave all and follow Him” – a great Kingdom moment
- 111 from Atlantic travelled on 3 buses. Another 15 or so travelled by other means, so our district total was 125 +-
- hats off to Shawn Craven and Tracy Marr for being the chaperones with the longest total travel time – 72 hours
- Jamie Cambers was marketing and promotions director on the 8 member Executive Team
- Julia Moore won one of five $5000 scholarships to any Wesleyan college/university.
- our largest delegation was from Presque Isle with 22 registered
- delegation of 17 from PEI came from our church and three other churches
- special highlight with all former WY leaders in honour of 50 years of conventions. Ross DeMerchant prayed at the conclusion of this time
