Congrats to Evan and Heidi Oxner who were married on August 10th. Evan is the Assistant Pastor in Perth-Andover and Heidi’s proud parents are our Beulah Caretakers Bruce and Roxie Cheney.

Riverside Camp wrapped up family camp last week where Rick Kavanaugh was serving as speaker. They saw 9 accept Christ; raised over 14K in offerings and an additional 5K for a special project and averaged 175 in attendance. Thanks to all who work so hard in support of the ministry at Riverside.
I enjoyed meeting with and strategizing with the LBA’s at Bangor Pathway and Scarborough Coastal last week including a very encouraging meeting with Dave and Laura Zigler at Coastal. Also made a very enjoyable stop on the way…..
Healthy Church Planting and Multiplication Conference with Ed Stetser on August 29 and 30 at Kingswood. I plan to attend – hope to see many of you.
Energizing meeting with Denn Guptill our District Director of Global Partners on Thursday. A district missions team to Cuba for spring 2014 and four teams for 2015 are coming down the planning pike. Keep watching.
It was my privilege again this year to speak at the Irving Memorial Chapel in Buctouche. Gloria and I were there yesterday for their morning worship service.

Andrew Phillips received a unanimous vote from the Jonesport church today and has accepted. He will begin his service there on Sept 1st. Welcome to the tribe Andy, Tammie and family.
