It’s Monday Again
Woodstock (Dale MacDonald) brought in 2021 with a creatively challenging four-pastor tag-team review of 2020 and hope for the New Year. This thought-provoking dialog featured insights from (left to right) Mike Agrell (The Ridge), Neil Horner (Woodstock), Dave Wilcox (Hartland), & Joel Bridges (Trinity). Tim Long (Live Well) has been preparing for the future. A few weeks ago he looked into getting some used chairs to upgrade the sanctuary from pews. Kings (Brent Ingersoll) and Yarmouth (AJ Plaizier) said they would buy new chairs instead and split the cost to furnish their entire sanctuary! Tim shared, “These babies arrived the first week in December! Our people are amazed and astounded.” #strongertogetherTim also shared an exciting update on their plans to launch a satellite church in 2021. “We had a Christmas Eve service at the Tiverton hall with about 30 in attendance (our first service since Feb last year) our plan moving forward is continued monthly services from January – March, ramping up to bi-weekly services by Easter and launching official weekly services starting in June!” #kingdommultiplication
Moncton (Joel Gorveatte) had an exciting first service of 2021 with nine baptisms, including three from KidsWorld (Liz Hoyt) and six from Pryme (Austin White). Joel shared the Christmas Offering has totaled $97K (all of which will be given away as detailed HERE).Blacks Harbour (Ken Banks) challenged the congregation to give generously over the Christmas season for the 2nd year in a row so that it could be given away to those in need of tangible blessings. Despite COVID-19 restrictions and lower attendance as a result, the church received over $5,300 towards its Big Give. Ken shared, “Truly amazing for a congregation of 80 people. We look forward to ‘giving it away’ early in the New Year.”
Bradford (Olivia) Jordan announced his resignation from the pastoral staff of Blacks Harbour at the conclusion of yesterday’s service. His service will conclude at the usual time of pastoral transition in July.

Points to Ponder
- Mankind’s endless quest to recreate Eden without God, to have the Kingdom without the King… never ends well. (Mike MacNeil)
- When tough things happen, what spills out of me? (Dave Wilcox)
- You don’t have to know the future to lead into it. (Dan Reiland)
