Praise God for 67 baptisms this Sunday across Kings (Brent Ingersoll) locations! Every number has a name. Every name an eternal story of transformation. And one of those names was Mya (pictured lower left) – the daughter of Pete & Shawna Stubbs leading Kings – St. Stephen. There is nothing sweeter for Kingdom leaders than celebrating this sacrament with the first-ministry of our own family!

Amherst Wesleyan Youth Rally

Amherst Wesleyan (Evan Oxner) held its second annual youth rally this past weekend with 71 teens plus adults in attendance. This event was led by Assistant Pastor Bradford Jordan in partnership with Youth For Christ. Bradford shared, “We had a free BBQ, games, and ended with a spirit filled time of worship. Two teens not connected to a church youth group came and we were able to make a strong connection with them.”

Last Monday, Amherst Wesleyan also launched its ESL course. CLICK HERE for more details. Bradford shared, “We have seen a surge of immigrants and refugees come to Amherst the past two years and have wanted to find relevant ways to engage and connect with them. The ESL course has done just that.”

Another excellent graduation weekend was celebrated at Kingswood University! President Steve Lennox has shared that between all training programs — Kingswood Learn (CLICK HERE for a recent update), Kingswood Extended Certificate, Kingswood Extended online, and the Sussex campus, more than 1100 people are preparing to serve the Lord more effectively at Kingswood University!

Graduate Isai Calderon joins the KU staff as Men’s Resident Director, and Graduate Andrea Mendez Ramirez begins this week as the International Student Liaison. Kingswood will welcome the first cohort of students in the Crandall MA in Management degree program as they arrive next week for orientation. These are exciting new days for KU!

SJ1 Worship Team

I enjoyed worshipping this Sunday with our Saint John First (Graham Perry) family. Registration is encouraging for an annual Ladies Retreat scheduled for this coming Saturday.

  • National Superintendent Steve Elliott has created greater focus and support for those in our ministerial ranks engaged in Chaplaincy ministry. The following exciting report was sent in yesterday by Chaplain Judy Adams!

God is moving in our prisons. It has been – and continues to be – my favourite place to work and minister. In January, we prepared to baptize three men at the Springhill Institution. They shared their prepared testimonies of their faith journey and commitment to follow God. A fourth man joined at the last minute, followed by THREE more impromptu men – all of whom shared their testimonies. A total of 7 baptisms in one of our federal prisons set me on a ‘high’ for some time! Praise God for his presence in these sometimes forgotten environments!

Come Away My Beloved – 2024

65 women of all ages from NS, PEI, and NB gathered this weekend at Beulah to claim who they are in Christ! Through worship, preaching, workshops, solitude, conversations, delicious food and fun; the women testified how they felt more equipped to return home and share Jesus with others.

  • One lady shared, “Tami used her leadership skills at CAMB by masterfully placing others in roles where they would shine for Jesus.  She lovingly stands back watching with pride as the various leaders stepped up and into their strengths.”

In the words of another participant, “This has been a quiet, introspective, Spirit-filled time of sensing God’s presence leading us in into greater understanding of HIs will for us, in ministry and discipleship.”
