Everyone is welcome to join the Holiness Emphasis services at Kingswood University today and tomorrow as scheduled above. All services will be held at the Saunders Irving Chapel, but if you will be unable to join us in person, you can CLICK HERE to watch livestream or to access at a later time.

I enjoyed the opportunity to preach at Trinity (Joel Bridges) this Sunday. A quality worship team led by Mark Thompson inspired a warm spirit in the multigenerational congregation. I had the privilege of sharing a pew in the service with Dean & Carol Stephenson and their family! Our churches are filled with high-calibre Kingdom leaders like them who have invested generations in the past and present as we work together to see God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

  • My meeting with the Trinity LBA following lunch marked the fourth board meeting conducted in-person over the past week as we are entering the season of pastoral evaluations and church transitions.

On January 7th, Glen (Eleanor) McVicar announced he will be retiring from CenterPoint Wesleyan this summer at the usual time of pastoral transition. The Atlantic Tribe has been blessed in three of our churches (including Jonesport, ME & Lower Brighton, NB) by the faithful ministry of the McVicars.

  • While others still slept, He went away to pray and to renew His strength in communion with His Father. He had need of this, otherwise He would not have been ready for the new day. The holy work of delivering souls demands constant renewal through fellowship with God. (Andrew Murray) #renewal
  • Why would God trust me with what’s next if He can’t trust me with what’s now? (Rod Denton)
  • Without God’s Spirit, there is nothing we can do that will count for God’s kingdom. Without God’s Spirit, the church simply can’t be the church. (N.T. Wright)

Love New Canadians Empowers Local Churches

Love New Canadians is currently used in 9 provinces with congregations ranging from 50 to 4000. After more than 15 years of victories and defeats to learn from, it has been used in 500+ churches across Canada and has been employed by the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada and SIM to train churches. The three levels of curriculum engage new Canadians in our communities through general interest and spiritually curiosity using Bible-based English literacy.

Our Maine churches can also benefit from engaging with
Immigrant Ministry and Wesleyan Immigrant Connection.
