Journey (Matt Maxwell) celebrated more baptisms this Sunday! On Legacy Sunday in February vision was cast for above and beyond giving to partner with increasing Matt Jones role on the Pastoral Team to full-time and investing in the start-up costs for a new Kingdom location in Oromocto.

  • This Sunday, more than $103K (about 50% cash & 50% pledged) for the Legacy Offering and 59 people expressed interest in learning more about being on the launch team for Journey – Oromocto.

It was a great Sunday at Easton Wesleyan (Rich Thomas). Rich was led by the Spirit to take an impromptu offering for partnership with World Hope Canada in providing supplies for screening cervical cancer in Sierra Leone. The goal was $1000 CAD.

  • Before the end of the service, more than $1000 USD was collected in cash and pledges. And one church member decided to match it and doubled the gift to $2K – It was an exciting morning! Good days in the County with great churches who punch above their weight class like Easton Wesleyan!

A 2020 World Health Organization (WHO) strategy to eliminate cervical cancer has been adopted by 194 countries, and it’s likely that it will be eradicated within our lifetime. With a dedicated mobile screening team, World Hope’s Cervical Cancer Screening team in Sierra Leone has screened over 20,000 women and has visited 80 villages to help bring hope through healing and health!

CEO Tanya Nace shared, “Our Learning Team just visited the project and pictured above is me with two of our nurses. Yarmouth Wesleyan (AJ Plaizier) has been a HUGE supporter of this project for the past three years.”
