Tidal (Moncton Campus) Celebrates Baptisms

Tidal (Jim Clements) celebrated 6 baptisms earlier this month with several inspiring testimonies shared. Every number has a name. Every name has a story of eternal transformation. CLICK HERE to hear Andrea’s remarkable testimony as fuel to remind you why we do what we do!

  • Jim Bechdol (Crystal Wesleyan) recently shared, “We had a double blessing of the presence of the Holy Spirit this morning. Praising the Lord!”

An exciting combined service this Sunday took place with Brazil Lake Wesleyan(Kevin Myers) and a few neighbouring Baptist churches. Kevin shared, “We had a pretty great day Sunday as we had the privilege of hosting a community service and dinner that included three other small churches from our area.”

  • Kevin continued, “We met right at the fire hall, with 112 people who were already neighbours, intermixing, and realizing that they were brothers and sisters! We sang some old hymns that everybody knew, and they drowned out the worship team…. the turkey dinner was just the icing on the cake… and there was cake and all kinds of other treats to follow that 🙂 it is the biggest event that the churches have come together for in my 10 years here!”
I enjoyed the opportunity to preach at Amherst Wesleyan (Evan Oxner) on Sunday – including a fun meal with the family! In the afternoon LBA, Evan’s Extended Call was unanimously renewed.
In other Pastoral Evaluation & Extended Call news…

  • Jacob Ebbett received a unanimous congregational vote on Sunday for his first Extended Call at Lower Brighton Wesleyan – congratulations!
  • Last night, Kevin Myers also received a unanimous LBA vote to renew his Extended Call as Lead Pastor of Brazil Lake Wesleyan.

In other district news, Executive Director Tami Mutch-Ketch convened the Caton’s Session of the Camp Board on Friday in Fredericton (Journey Church) as progress continues with the search for our next Director. Special thanks to two board members who have concluded their service on the Caton’s Board, Shane Hoyt & Nick Graham – thank you gents for your many years of service!

  • SAVE THE DATE: Stay tuned for more details about how we will be celebrating the 30th summer of Director Dean Stephenson’s leadership – Saturday, May 24th @ 4:00 p.m. on Caton’s Island.

And speaking of celebrating deserving leaders…

Don’t Miss This Exciting Evening!

As Kingswood University prepares to welcome a new President this summer, we are excited about the opportunity to share in an evening of appreciation for the decadal leadership of President & Mrs. Lennox on April 11th @ 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome as it will be a celebratory standing stone in the history of our beloved university.

First Middle School Weekend @ KU

Kingswood University hosted 60 youth and their leaders for the Ignite 2025 middle school weekend. This was the first overnight youth rally for most of the youth in attendance, and they came ready to embrace everything planned for them. The students’ response was clear evidence that God used Pastor Spencer Conway as he delivered powerful messages to encourage and challenge the students to embrace their faith and take steps for intentional growth. It was a great weekend!

District Children’s Ministry Director Roadtrip

Tidal (Moncton) Children’s Pastor Liz Hoyt continues to serve with passion as our District Children’s Ministry Director. This weekend Liz enjoyed the opportunity to connect with several kids min workers in Carleton County. Liz is always open to providing feedback and encouragement for your local church ministry with kids and their families in your community.

  • Reaching people for Jesus is not just about what we say and what we do, but how we say it and why we do it. (Dan Reiland)

Ellen joins me in expressing heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Atlantic District for Denn & Angela Guptill (Cornerstone Wesleyan) on Wednesday’s passing of her beloved mother, Ruth Kelly, at age 101. Also to Stefan & Deborah Gilbert and their children as Ruth was Deborah’s grandmother.

  • She experienced more than a century of memories in life and love – a cherished gift by all her loved ones. CLICK HERE for Ruth’s obituary with opportunity to share a personal word of support for the family.
