Nothing inspires a heart of thanksgiving like celebrating transformed lives! The second week of Tidal Shediac (Austin White) included a video testimony of three baptisms (CLICK HERE to watch their stories).

  • A correction to last week’s report as the first Sunday had 162 in attendance with 145 this Thanksgiving Sunday – Praise God for such a strong start as the Spirit is expanding Kingdom locations through the Tidal Multiplication Network (Jim Clements).
Churches on the Canadian side of our district found meaningful ways to celebrate Thanksgiving while our American churches enjoyed a long weekend with Columbus / Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Westchester Wesleyan (Sharon Simoneau) hosted a Thanksgiving Community Dinner with an excellent turnout.
Thanks to all those who enjoy reading this weekly communication from my desk to our pastoral team. If you are a lay leader in your church family, please CLICK HERE and make sure you play your part to encourage your church to honour your pastor(s) this month.
Caton’s Island – Foundation Laid for Spring Project
The concrete pad for the new Admin/Medic building at Caton’s is complete and the Island is closed up for the winter thanks to the excellent leadership of Director Dean Stephenson.

Six weeks of hard work and long hours tearing the old house down to the foundation ready for spring. Dean shared, “We are grateful to all who helped and excited about next year! Thanks to all who helped, prayed and donated to the cause!” CLICK HERE for the full post.

The Genesis Multiplication Network (Jason Frizzell) has provided oversight for the launch of a new Kingdom location in Montreal with Rev. Jeannot Chataigne.

Assistant Pastor Jennifer White (Solid Rock Wesleyan with Peter Hayes) had the privilege recently of being a part of CAFO Conference (Christian Alliance for Orphans) in Nashville, Tennessee as a Board Member of Hephzibah 62:4 – a ministry of The Wesleyan Church for vulnerable children (see top pic). Jennifer provides leadership for Jonathan’s Heart Ministry in partnership with Solid Rock Wesleyan for families with autistic children and/or other special needs.

  • At a September free play event there were 32 people in attendance and six different nationalities represented. Jennifer shared, “On October 5th we had our Lester’s Farm Market Event where the families got to enjoy the field of fun, which had corn mazes, games, lots and lots of pumpkins, and a hayride afterwards, they were able to go inside to enjoy the market and have ice cream. They closed down the whole place for us and treated us like royalty. It was absolutely amazing. We had 90 people sign up for this event. Everybody went home with a gift bag, contact information for the church and a Scripture verse.”

Congratulations to Brett & Taylor Laidlaw (Yarmouth) on their happy union this Friday!
