Cornerstone (Denn Guptill) has celebrated 15 baptisms in the past five weeks with 8 this Sunday (top three pics) – PTL!

  • Moncton (Jim Clements) offered the sacrament to two (bottom left) and Westchester (Sharon Simoneau) to one (bottom right) in Wentworth Park after Sunday’s service – God is good!
Fifty years ago this month, the first Sunday service for Hillside Wesleyan was held in Cole Harbour as Dr. HC & Gloria Wilson launched a new Kingdom location. This past Sunday Dave Dixon (Hillside) and his team provided excellent leadership in planning the 50th Anniversary Celebration with a highlight message from the founding Pastor. All surviving lead pastors were present to give God the glory for these continued days of Kingdom impact and the bright future ahead!
Solid Rock Wesleyan Men’s B’fast

What a blessed Saturday morning at Solid Rock (Peter Hayes) as the ministry of The Word was delivered in the first men’s breakfast of the year with 33 in attendance as other churches in the area were invited to join.

  • The speaker for the morning, Simon MacInnis shared, “One of the men shared a prayer request for someone they knew whose son was in a really bad car accident and had been in a coma but as we were praying, the man that shared this request received a text message from the father to say his son had woken up from a coma. Praise Jesus!”
Riverside Camp Ends Season in Style!
Riverside Wesleyan Camp Board Chair Parker Davis (Framework) shared, “This past weekend we hosted our first Fall Youth Retreat in partnership with Kingswood’s Praxis Program with 44 students. We had three sessions of prayer and worship. There was a tangible hunger for the glory of God as these students sought to engage with the presence of the Holy Spirit.

  • We also had three workshops centered around fostering healthy relationships with God, others & yourself.  All in all this weekend was a huge success in offering a space to equip students with the practices necessary to cultivate strong, healthy and real relationships.

One of the highlights of this weekend was the eagerness of our students not only to learn but to passionately praise Jesus. As one student said to me Saturday night, ‘I know God loves me, but I have realized that he wants to give me his attention and that he wants my attention too.’ Personally, as a youth pastor there is so much that Shaun Miller & His Praxis team taught that I look forward to leveraging and referencing throughout this school year! The Fall Retreat has been both a great addition and conclusion to our camping season at Riverside Camp.”
