Atlantic Connexion

Take Me to the River!
  • A picture is worth 1000 words. How about 5000? This Sunday, Crosspoint(John Sherwood) baptized five Believers in the Nashwaak River – PTL!

Every number has a name. Every name has a story that matters for eternity and brings God glory. Our last church year, the Kingdom locations of the Atlantic District experienced a 39% increase in baptisms. We’re off to a great start!

Conference Church Highlight Videos

Eighteen Kingdom locations shared via video testimony at District Conference to highlight just one or two ways God has been at work in our Atlantic region. These 4-5 minute videos will inspire you to believe God for great things in the year to come!

Hub Coffee Launches Kingdom Expression

Hub Coffee (Framework – Jason Blaikie) has launched a community service for young adults this summer (The Bridge). The goal for this service is to have a unique expression that helps bridge the gap between non-church and church young adults.

  • Jason shared, “Located walking distance from our local university, Hub was always designed with outreach in mind. The Bridge will teach young adults about Jesus in an acoustic worship and low key teaching setting. This is part of what God has been doing with our young adults in town on Wednesday nights at Hub that now reaches over 30 individuals gathering together from 6 denominations.”
New Hope Float in Kingston Parade
New Hope – Kingston (Campus Pastor David Tysick) had a blast participating in the ‘Steer BBQ Parade’ on Saturday, July 13th. The vibrant float featured a live worship team, filling the streets with uplifting music, and handed out 400 goodie bags, spreading joy & hope throughout the crowd!
  • David shared, “Seeing the buzz of excitement from our church family to get out into our community was infectious. There was also something so powerful about hearing our worship team praising Jesus down the Main Street of our town.”

  • If you are in Christ the game is rigged in your favour. Risk your talent in the context of community and watch God add value. (Darren Campbell)
  • No matter who you are, what you’ve done, or where you come from, as a child of God, you are loved to the fullest and will be filled to overflowing for His glory. (Greg Hanson)
  • When you run away from the devil you get stronger. We want revival but we don’t want to repent. What if your unconfessed sin impacts what God wants to do collectively for the Body? (Kyle Ray)
