Monday Again

CHRIST IS BORN!

“The hinge of history is on the door of a Bethlehem stable.” (Ralph Sockman)
Merry Christmas! The pendulum of history is eternally marked by Anno Domini (the year of our Lord), when the miraculous fulfillment of hundreds of years of prophecy opened wide the door of fullness and abundance through the new covenant in His blood, poured out for us all.
Tune in next week for highlights from our Christmas Eve services sent to me this week by our pastors. I am enjoying a couple weeks of family vacation through January 6th, however, I will be available by cell in the event of an emergency. The District Office will be closed until January 2nd.
Our sincere condolences are offered to Darlene & Brian Murray and family (Trinity – Bristol) on the passing of her father, Alvin MacPhee, this Friday.
Later today, my side of the family is gathering for Christmas dinner – our first without Dad, who has been enjoying his eternal reward since February. Today many of us will face the bittersweet of grief in precious memories balanced with gratitude for the hope of being reunited in Christ. We are not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes! Ellen joins me in wishing you and your family all of God’s best in this wonderful season of celebration and renewal.
With His hope,
