  • Natalie Gidney has accepted the Children’s Pastor position at Yarmouth.
  • Ben and Bayley Medel will be joining the staff at Fredericton Corbett as Student Ministries Pastor and Worship Arts Pastor.
  • Maple Ridge held a benefit concert for Pastor Nick and Beth Graham last Sunday. There were circa 200 people present from several churches and a gift of $6500 was presented to the Grahams. Amazing!
  • I will be in Ontario most of this week for assignments with the Central Canada District Conference.
  • Nick Graham preached at the Browns Flat Fellowship yesterday. They received a special offering of nearly $3600 for Nick and family. Great generosity.

Peter was at Fredericton Crosspoint for all 4 of their weekend services where they had 587 in attendance – great sense of enthusiasm and momentum – and a good cup of coffee too!

Kings Halifax held their first information meeting last Sunday. Site Pastor Seth Fancy sent this word: “Room filled to capacity – 50 people – great energy, lots of interest and John Symonds showed up – so that makes for a good first night.”

Candy Land Carnival at Blacks Harbour was a very special day on Saturday for the 66+kids and families who were in attendance. Looking great.

Connection Truro held an local mission trip last week with several Acts of Kindness in the community. These included delivering flowers at a special care home; delivering ice cream sandwiches to an elementary school; serving with Catholic volunteers at downtown centre; delivering homemade cookies to nursing units at the hospital and other acts of community connection.  Well done.

John Donald was guest of honour for his 87th birthday on Friday. John has been a great friend and neighbour to Beulah and Caton’s for many years. I personally deeply appreciate John and his quality work, cooperative attitude and prompt response when his skill and equipment is needed. John and his sons Keith and Billy are highly valued by us all.
